Deluxe National Parks of Dalmatia 8-day Bike and Boat Tour

Embark on a journey through the spectacular Dalmatian landscape by e-bike and onboard luxury ships. The famous national parks Krka and Kornati as well as the Telašćica Nature Park are just as much a highlight of this tour as the beautiful medieval old towns of Šibenik, Zadar and Trogir. The central Dalmatian island Dugi Otok is another highlight of the tour, offering incredible panoramic views over the sea and surrounding islands.

Accommodation:

Deluxe ship: The Magellan is an elegant two-masted motor yacht that remains pleasantly steady even when sailing through heavier swells. On board you will find spacious guest cabins with air-conditioning and a personal shower/WC. The beautifully furnished saloon and bar as well as the covered aft deck are fitted out with comfortable seating areas. On the spacious sun deck, you will find deckchairs, enticing you to lie back, relax and enjoy the warm sea breeze. The swimming platform at the stern ensures easy access to the glistening waters for a refreshing dip. Delicious cuisine is particularly important on the Magellan: The ship’s owner is a member of the cooking academy for traditional Dalmatian cuisine and the owner of a restaurant on the island of Hvar, known far beyond the borders of Croatia for its excellent dishes. It goes without saying that he also implements these high culinary standards on his motor yacht. Meals on board can likewise be enjoyed with an exquisite selection of Croatian wines.

Tour character: Level 2

E-bike tours suitable for Islandhoppers with a good basic level of fitness. The tours and the elevation meters are very manageable with an e-bike (30-60km and 400-700 elevation meters per day).

On e-bike tour programs, the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part on these tours on a gravel bike should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace. We thank you for your understanding.

Children:

We believe that only children in a good physical condition and with a minimum age of 10 and previous bicycle tour experience are able to master the bike-tours on their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental hybrid bike is 1.20 m (4 ft.) and 1.50 m (4.9 ft.) for an e-bike. In Croatia there is a helmet duty for all children up to age of 16.

Catering:

The on-board chef is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and one or two warm meals a day. The catering consists of 2 x full board and 5 x half board. Catering starts with the dinner on the arrival day and ends with the breakfast on the departure day.

Language:

This tour is conducted bilingually, in English and German.

• Insurance against theft and damage of the rental bike: e-bike/ roadbike: 25 EUR/week (not insured: grossly negligent damages)
• A safe parking space: motorcycle: 30 EUR/week; car up to 6 m in length: 70 EUR/week, vehicle longer than 6 m: 100 EUR/week (to be paid on-site to the tour guide)
• Customized transfers between Split airport and Trogir harbour: price on request (day of embarkation/disembarkation only)

Price reductions:

• With three persons sharing a cabin, we allow a 50 % discount on the basic tour price for the third person, regardless of age, and do not charge the above-deck surcharge for the third person. Three-bed-cabins are furnished with one double and a single bed (first class ship).
• Children up to age 16 receive a discount of 25 % on the basic tour price (not combinable with the 50 % discount); Surcharge for single cabin use will be added.
