Enjoy a 5 day Tulip Tour in Holland!
Visit the largest garden of Holland "De Keukenhof", but also take a look into Dutch traditions... and visit cities like Amsterdam, Leiden and Haarlem.

Amsterdam: (cycling distance approx. 35 km)
At noon the crew of the barge welcomes you on board in Amsterdam. During lunch you can meet your fellow travellers and the tour guide. In the afternoon you bike trough the nature to the museum village of Zaanse Schans to visit the mills there. After this visit you will find the barge in Zaandam.
Zaandam (cycling distance approx. 25 km)
After breakfast your barge sets sail to Spaarndam. After the locks of Spaarndam, your cycle trip of the day starts. The journey takes you to the North sea beaches. There you have the time to enjoy a beach walk and afterwards you bike to the city of Haarlem. This old city is famous for its courtyards. Many of these you can visit and by doing this you will get a view of the typical Dutch way of life. But Haarlem is more than that… Its monuments and old houses are a beautiful sight to see.
Haarlem (cycling distance approx. 45 km)
Today your bike trip starts in the direction of Lisse. Visit the most famous garden of Holland, the Keukenhof. Enjoy the tulip fields in all forms, shapes and colours. Afterwards, continue your cycle tour to Leiden. In the afternoon stop by one of the many tulip fields and enjoy a walk through it - play with the tulip leaves that are left behind on the fields and make the most beautiful pictures. After dinner visit the old city with your tour guide. Leiden is a city that is so beautiful it received the UNESCO protection title for the complete old city, which contains the oldest university of Holland, as well as the original houses where many of the Dutch masters were born, such as Rembrandt, Lucas van Leyden and Jan Steen.
Leiden (cycling distance approx. 35 km)
When you think of Holland, don't just think of tulips. During the bike tour we stop at a cheese farm, where you can learn everything about the process of cheese making and visit the farm. We spend the night at Kudelstaart, a small village near Aalsmeer.
Kudelstaart: (cycling distance approx. 22 km)
An early start with a visit to the tulips auction in Aalsmeer. This auction is the biggest flower auction in the world. Afterwards the barge sails back to Amsterdam where you can enjoy the old West part of the city from the sun deck. Once the ship is moored your tour guide takes you for a walk around Amsterdam, where you can enjoy the beautiful old canal houses or “grachtenpanden” also the small streets of the old city centre. After coffee the crew says goodbye and wish you a safe journey home.
