It was a great visit to the old city of Antwerp today - city of diamonds, boats and ports. Moored up close to the city centre, everything is within walking distance. The cathedral is huge, town hall is an architectural gem and the open space of huge squares is great for coffee shops and restaurants. Only the lovely old cobblestones everywhere make walking and cycling a bumpy adventure!

After hours of walking and finding Rubens' house and museum closed (Monday!) it was time to sit in a square, grab a coffee and watch the people go by.
