Love Bear took a window seat as the bus left Fussen to make its way up into the mountains. What a great day for walking miles uphill and downhill, with an unbelievable number of steps and staircases! Two castles, both magnificent and well worth the investment of time and energy.

Love Bear enjoyed the snow covered mountains as the backdrop for these two stunning castles. No photos allowed inside so he had to be content with appearing in outside (spectacular!) views. He nearly fell down the gorge when there was a slight breeze so afterwards took some safer positions.

He was allowed in the kitchens so jumped into the photo with all the copper pots.

He didn't quite fit with the 'Sound of Music' scenery but managed to avoid looking at the enormous drop below!
