The star visit of the day was without doubt Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece.The photo at the front is taken in the cloister gardens of the church where this is painted.

Love Bear's first day of discovering the world of art and he couldn't keep out of mischief, almost bowling people over to get into the picture. The way he was behaving it was very nearly his own 'Last Supper'!

At the other end of the same room was an excellent fresco, almost totally ignored because of the much more famous competition from the Master. However, here it is, probably a little less damaged than Leonardo's was by the WWII bombs which almost destroyed the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie where they are both housed.
