The lakes Tegernsee and Schliersee invite you to a swim, a dip into the refreshing waters of mountain lakes is always welcome on a hot summer’s day. Mountains, lakes and a Bavarian ‚Brotzeit’-snack – is there anything better than that?
Easy walks with stunning views along walking paths and forest roads. Big differences in heights are tackled by cable car. For the daily tours a good basic fitness level is required, since walking times vary between 3 and 5 hours. When possible, there are also more challenging routes on offer, which will lead you even higher up into the mountain areas.
