Slovakia 5-day Guided Walking Tour (Level 2)
Walking & Hiking Holidays to Tatra Mountains are not to be missed. Fantastic for all that enjoy hiking, walking, exploring nature’s wonders and meeting like minded people along the way. Solo travellers, couples or groups of friends are welcome!
It is also suitable for keen walkers. The hikes/walks are of easy to medium difficulty. Your fitness level must be still good to attend these. Walks can take up to maximum of 6-7 hours per day with frequent breaks and 1 hour for lunch.

Arrivals
There will be an opportunity to book an optional Water Rafting in Pieniny National Park (on the Polish border). The water rafting is of easy difficulty, nothing extreme. We’ll start our rafting at 2pm. The activity will take around 1.5 hours. We’ll then bike back up to the starting point. We’ll be picked up at around 4.45-5pm back to our accommodation. If you wish to be excluded from this activity, you’re more than welcome to explore your surroundings and town.
Check in – 15.00 Evening – relax
Breakfast, 7:45am meet at the reception and leave for our Waterfalls Hike. This hike offers the view of several small and larger waterfalls along the way. We will also visit the oldest mountain hut in the Tatra Mountains range which dates back to 1865. There is a possibility of taking a mountain tram up for the first steeper part of the hike.
Hike details: Length – 8.1km – ascend – 435 meters – approx. 4 hours altogether. Evening – relax/optional visit to the local hot spring water park and spa which is only 2 minutes away
Breakfast, 8.15 am meet at the reception to leave for Green Lake hike – one of the most beautiful lakes in the area. We will have a break and grab a lunch at the mountain hut, take some images and make our way down.
Hike details: Length – 15.4km – ascend – 675 meters – approx. 6 hours altogether – highest point reached – 1,570 meters.
Evening – free time
Breakfast, 7:45am departure for our final hike to Popradske Pleso. We will start from biggest mountain village Strbske Pleso reaching our destination Popradske Pleso – a stunning mountain lake surrounding by magnificent peaks of Tatra Mountains . We will have a lunch at a Popradske Lake mountain hut with stunning views of the lake.
Hike details: Length – 10.6km – ascend – 387 meters – approx. 4 hours altogether – highest point reached – 1,525 meters.
Evening – good bye dinner
Breakfast, departure, airport transfers.
Poprad departures - Your airport transfer will be picking you up from your accommodation at 7.45am. *Breakfast is served from 7.30am until 10.00am unless specified otherwise.
