Built in 1930 in Holland, the barge was used for ferrying grain, stone, wood and other dry cargo in Europe. She was laid up in the centre of Paris for 17 years, where she was owned and lived in by the famous American Actor Sterling Hayden.
At 103 ft (31.4m) long, the barge has three well appointed en-suite air-conditioned cabins, one cabin with double bed and bathroom; two cabins with twin beds and bathroom; laundry with washing machine and dryer; a living room, dining room with an open kitchen, and two fabulous outside decks to take full advantage of the magnificent French scenery that slowly drifts by. Bicycles are on board
This luxury barge offers a planned cruise (with 4 stops) from Saint Julien sur Dheune to Seurre: Saint Julien sur Dheune - Saint Léger sur Dheune - Santenay - Chagny - Fragnes - Seurre.
Food & Wine on board is a great opportunity for us to share with you our « French Culture » deeply rooted in this « Pleasure of the Table ». You will discover an authentic French Cuisine cooked exclusively with fresh and seasonal ingredients. The wine selection has been carefully done within a large variety of Bourgogne to serve the dish perfectly.
