Easy access (1h from Milan airport) just a couple of hours from Milan, the region offers a fantastic network of trails and ancient mule tracks, leading you from pretty villages to spectacular villas and gardens. Providing you with a se-lection of walks and Villa entrances including Carlotta and Balbaniello which can be under taken in any order; allowing you to make the most of your time in the area. Your walks will take you cruising across the lake; to panoramic views; and meandering through orchards and olive groves all at your own pace. Each night you'll stay in the small charming village of Lenno

Glistening waters, colourful villages and manicured vineyards, all wrapped up in a dramatic mountain backdrop. Lake Como is a gem you are sure to fall in love with. Lake Como has been the holiday destination of choice for the rich and famous since Roman times, when aristocrats were seduced by the lavish villas and magnificent gardens. We recommend walking poles. Our itineraries are more often than not waymarked and on well- defined paths, tracks, and sometimes back country roads. The trails can be rocky; good boots with ankle support & walking poles are highly recommended. You will be in a zone where water is scarce; you will have to bring enough water with you each day as there are few options to fill up during the walk.

Accomodation:

• Please note that the accommodations in Italy are not International standard. A 3* star hotel in Italy will very often correspond to a 2* star international hotel. All BB are different : some are VERY simple, some are more charming, with all rooms different at a different price
• Most hotels ( except the 4*) do NOT have air conditioning

• If you would like to visit the Villa Gardens, please book your ticket online before you arrive to avoid missing out!
• The boat tickets on the lake are booked for a specific date, that you can not change. If you want to change the boat ticket date, you will have to buy a new ticket (around 4€ to 7€ / person)
