The region around lake Zell is the ideal holiday destination for all cycle families and for all families that want to get into cycling. There is always a new cycle adventure waiting for you every day: you will cycle around the crystal-clear lake Zell and explore Europe’s largest waterfalls. You will also drive to Austria’s highest mountain. Fun and games is never too far away! You can choose if you prefer a game of bike golf in Maishofen or to have fun at the play area by the warm lake Ritzen. Simply marvelous bike paths and scenery as if it came straight out of a picture book put the cherry on the cake for these cycle tour. The home-made puddings and regional dishes in many of the guest houses and farms also contributes to this. Enjoy the tasty “Kasnocken”, a unique speciality from Pinzgau.  And if you don’t want to do any more cycling, you can stop at any time and pick up your rucksack and walk to the Alm that your hotel runs, or you can just relax by the swimming pool in your accommodation.

Almost entirely flat route along the Salzach and Saalach valleys, often along the Tauern-Cycle Path. Only small hills when the cycle route leaves the riverside. You mainly cycle on bike paths and very quiet side roads. Very short sections on busy roads.
