Christmas Markets 4-Day Cruise from Ghent to Bruges
Discover the Christmas markets along the Belgian Canals. Located in northern Belgium, vibrant Ghent and charming Bruges are magical destinations, each with its own unique aura. In December, the two cities dress up in their finest for all to see.
Your cruiser is a true cocoon of charm, sails on the French canals and offers its passengers an original and authentic experience. She is a beautiful Premium canal barge, measuring 38,50 meters long and 5,07 meters wide. It can accommodate 22 passengers, in 11 cabins spread over two decks. The size of the cabins is 9m2 (including a PRM cabin of 11 m2) offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay.
On board, everything has been taken care of down to the smallest detail and the 6 crew members guarantee a personalized service. The decoration is stylish with an elegant and intimate atmosphere. Located on the upper deck are the restaurant, which offers delicate cuisine in a refined setting, the lounge bar and a relaxation area with a jacuzzi. Comfortable sun loungers are provided on the sun deck, the ideal place to relax and admire the surrounding landscapes. A journey aboard promises an unforgettable getaway on the water.

GHENT
You’ll board our ship at 5:00 p.m. Included excursion: Guided tour of the Christmas market in Ghent*. Discover Flanders's shining star and its Christmas market during a tour on foot. Located in the historic city center, the Christmas market's countless lights and festive decorations accent Ghent's marvelous architecture. Stroll at your pace through the lively aisles as the tempting aroma of mulled wine and sweet delights awakens your spirit. Browse the stands where local craftspeople sell their beautiful wares. We’ll return to the ship.
We’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner on board.
GHENT
This morning, the included excursion is a guided tour of Ghent and a tasting of local specialties. We'll leave on foot for the center of the city. Ghent is as authentic Flemish as you can get, with its charming atmosphere, cobblestone streets, serene canals, and rich architectural heritage. Enjoy a tasting of regional delicacies with your guide during a veritable immersion into the region's historical and culinary traditions. Then enjoy some free time in the fairytale-like Ghent Christmas market(3) between Sint-Baafsplein and the Korenmarkt. We’ll return to the ship. Enjoy lunch on board.
The ship will begin to cruise to Aalter. Enjoy a tasting of hot chocolate and bredeles on board. We'll cruise through beautiful scenery on the Ghent-Bruges-Ostend Canal. Sit back and relax as the Flemish plains unfold before your eyes.
AALTER - BRUGES
We'll spend the morning cruising to Bruges. Tasting of sweet Belgian specialties on board. Arrival in Bruges at the beginning of the afternoon. Included excursion: Bruges, its Christmas market, and a brewery Bruges gets dressed up in all its finery during the whole month of December. Two markets are dedicated to the holiday season, the first in the Grote Markt and the second near Simon Stevinplein.
During this tour, you’ll run across local craftspeople selling their wares and a bounty of sweet delights. Located in downtown Bruges, the Bourgogne des Flandres is known for its beautiful decor and handcrafted beer. The brewery combines modern techniques and artisan methods dating back to the 18th century. Enjoy some free time afterwards to browse through the beautifully lit stands proposing everything from finely handcrafted Christmas decorations to local candies.
After our tour, we’ll return to the ship on foot. Tonight is our festive gala evening.
