Prague to Dresden Moldava and Elbe Cycling

The impressive city Prague is the start of your journey through history and a lot of worth seeing sights. Dresden is the end of this beautiful tour: the Zwinger Palace, Semperoper (Opera house) and the Frauenkirche (church of lady’s) wait for you. Between this two cities you cycle along the rivers Moldau (Vltava) and Elbe, visit a lot of picturesque villages and cross romantic landscapes. Enjoy the panoramic view from the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. This landscape is really impressive. Maybe you like the way between Prague and Dresden more than the cities by themselves.

Tour character: Level 1

Easy! You have to negotiate a few gradients, apart from that the route is mainly easy to cycle on the Elbe bike path. A few ways are unpaved.

Arrival / departure / parking:

• In Prague parking fee approx. € 16,- per day in underground garage. We recommend to travel to Dresden (parking fee approx. € 200,- per week in hotel garage) and continue with a transfer by minibus or by train to Prague. Transfer to Prague by minibus incl. bikes possible. Limited space, price € 85,- per person, for the return transport of your own bike we charge € 39,- extra. Reservation required when booking the trip, payable in advance.
• Good rail connections to Prague and from Dresden.

• Extra night in Dresden: From 70 EUR p.p (double) or 105 EUR (single)
• Extra night in Prague: From 65 EUR p.p (double) or 100 EUR (single)
• This tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility
• Departures on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from April to September
• No minimum persons required
• You can take your own bikes on our tour, but keep in mind that our bikes are optimally provided for the conditions of the routes and we include bike insurance.
