Arrival in Dijon

Walk around the city of Dijon! You will be surprised by the heritage variety: the medieval streets, the mansion houses, some of them with glazed tiled roof, timber framed houses, and Haussmanian boulevards

Dijon – Beaune | 49 km

Follow the 'green way' to explore the famous ‘Côte de Nuits’ vineyards: Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Clos Vougeot … Stop when you wish for a visit or a wine tasting! Arrive in Beaune, one of France's prettiest towns, by its numerous testimonies in art and history: its hospital, crowned with a roof of glazed tiles, is known throughout the world!

Option : Excursion to « Côte de Beaune » (56 km) & additional night in Beaune: Follow the picturesque ‘Voie Verte’ (cycling path) which goes through of the pretty « Côte de Beaune » and the great vineyards such as Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet or Pommard. You will have the opportunity also to admire the Château de la Rochepot : a magnificent 13th and 15th century fortress with roofs made of glazed tiles before reaching the nice village of Nolay. Go back to Beaune at the end of the day

Beaune – Châteauneuf | 35 km

Leave Beaune for Savigny-les-Beaune and its castle. Enter in the nice Burgundian countryside: on each part of the itinerary you will be surrounded by small hills scattered by typical villages. Join Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, picturesque old village perched on high, protected by its château dating back to the 12th and 15th centuries!

Châteauneuf – Dijon | 42 km

This stage leads you to Dijon along the ‘Vallée de l’Ouche’, peaceful river crossing the forest. You will ride along the Canal de la Bourgogne used by barges and tourist boats. You will get into Dijon using the ‘Green Way’!
