Bolzano to Venice with Charm Cycling Tour

From South Tyrol to Veneto – this cycling tour begins with sweeping views of majestic mountains and winding river valleys, bringing you stage by stage closer to the sea. One constant along the way: the vineyards. Around Trento, they yield bold red wines; in the Veneto, sparkling Prosecco. After discovering the charming old towns of Bolzano and Trento, you’ll arrive at Lake Garda, where glittering waters and Mediterranean flair await. The views from the boat are especially enchanting—lush hillsides, elegant palazzi, and the soft rhythm of the waves. In Verona, romance lingers in the air with the story of Romeo and Juliet, while Vicenza is a tribute to Palladio’s architectural genius. Tour character: Level 2

The route is mostly flat with gentle hills; the only challenging section is over the Monti Berici—but you’ll be rewarded with stunning views over Vicenza. The first two stages follow mainly dedicated cycle paths, while south and east of Lake Garda you’ll ride mostly on farm tracks and quiet side roads. Short sections follow moderately trafficked roads. The surface is almost entirely paved. With daily stages ranging between 40 and 70 kilometers.
