  • Day 1

Welcome to the Netherlands – Amsterdam arrival

Upon arrival at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, a representative will greet you in the arrival hall and escort you via private minivan to your centrally-located hotel in Amsterdam. There, your tour leader will warmly welcome you and assist with check-in. Throughout your stay, your tour leader will act as a dedicated concierge, available to assist with any questions or personal arrangements.

In the afternoon, gather in the hotel lobby to meet your fellow travelers and begin your European adventure with the first tour highlight: a private canal boat cruise and welcome reception. Afterwards, take some time to explore Amsterdam at your own pace and soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

  • Day 2

Cycle to the ship – Amsterdam to Utrecht (10 km / 6 mi)

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel, begin your day with a fitting session for your bike before heading out for a gentle ride through Amsterdam’s scenic parks and leafy neighbourhoods. Pedal past tree-lined canals and urban green spaces as you get comfortable on two wheels. While you’re getting acquainted with your bike, your luggage will be transferred separately and delivered directly to the ship – you’ll find it in your cabin upon arrival. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive by bike at your floating hotel. After settling into your suite, the ship sets sail toward Vianen. Enjoy your first evening onboard, including an engaging introduction to Dutch history and geography in a short, enriching lecture.

    Meals included: breakfast, dinner

  • Day 3

    Silvercraft & windmills – Utrecht to Dordrecht (32 or 56 km / 19 or 34 mi)

This memorable day begins with a cycling route that leads you to the charming town of Schoonhoven, famed for its silversmithing tradition. Take some time to explore the quaint streets and artisanal shops before continuing on through the Alblasserwaard region — a quintessentially Dutch landscape of dikes, green pastures dotted with cows, and wide-open skies. Along the way, pause for a specially arranged Taste of Holland experience: a leisurely lunch featuring regional specialties in a picturesque local setting. It’s the perfect moment to relax, refuel, and savor the flavors of the Dutch countryside. Your next destination is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kinderdijk, where 19 historic windmills tell the story of the Netherlands’ centuries-long battle with water. From nearby Alblasserdam, board the fast Waterbus to reach Dordrecht, one of Holland’s oldest cities, where your ship awaits.

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

  • Day 4

Into Belgium – Dordrecht to Antwerp (20 or 36 km / 13 or 23 mi)

Start your day by cycling through peaceful forests and farmland to the impressive Kreekrak lock system, a feat of modern water engineering. After returning to the ship, enjoy a relaxing cruise into Belgium, reaching Antwerp, a dynamic city renowned for its artistic heritage, sparkling diamond trade, and elegant Renaissance architecture. While cruising, take in an onboard talk that brings the upcoming Belgian destinations to life. Spend your evening in Antwerp exploring landmarks like the Grote Markt, the Cathedral of Our Lady, or perhaps even historic Steen Castle. Ask a tour leader for restaurant recommendations for tonight!

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch

  • Day 5

Along the Schelde – Antwerp to St. Amands (34 or 49 km / 21 or 31 mi)

This morning is yours to enjoy Antwerp at your own pace. Pay a visit (included) to the fascinating Red Star Line Museum, where you can learn about the story of emigration from Europe to North America. Later, cycle along the serene banks of the Schelde River, taking in one of the most scenic and tranquil landscapes of the tour. Pause for a relaxed countryside picnic before arriving in the riverside village of St. Amands, where your ship is moored and a pleasant evening onboard awaits.

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

  • Day 6

lemish flair – St. Amands to Ghent (52 km / 32 mi)

Continue your riverside cycling journey to the city of Ghent — a bustling university town filled with Gothic towers, vibrant squares, and medieval charm. After exploring the historic center, you’ll be treated to a private canal cruise through Ghent’s beautiful waterways. Highlights include the majestic St. Bavo Cathedral and the Van Eyck brothers’ world-famous altarpiece. A short ride at the end of the day takes you back to the ship, which has moved closer to Bruges.

    Meals included: breakfast, dinner

  • Day 7

Into Bruges – Ghent to Bruges (22 or 45 km / 13 or 28 mi)

Enjoy a scenic ride through the peaceful Flemish countryside en route to Bruges, often called the “Venice of the North.” Along the way, stop for a delicious sampling of Belgian specialities before arriving in this UNESCO-listed fairytale city. With its cobbled streets, gabled houses, and rich cultural scene, Bruges is a tour highlight. Spend the rest of your afternoon wandering museums, tasting handmade chocolate, or enjoying a quiet canal-side café. Your tour leader can always assist in choosing among the many wonderful places to eat in Bruges!

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch

  • Day 8

Coastal escape – Bruges to the North Sea (38 or 51 km / 23 or 31 mi)

On your final day of cycling, head west through scenic pastures and sand dunes to reach the North Sea. Whether you take a refreshing dip or sip a drink at a beach café, the day is yours to enjoy. Ride back to Bruges along tranquil canals, and reflect on your journey during a celebratory evening onboard with your fellow travelers.

    Meals included: breakfast, dinner

  • Day 9

From Bruges to Paris – Arrival in the City of Lights

After breakfast, it’s time to say farewell to the crew and board a comfortable coach to Paris. As you travel south, enjoy the changing landscapes – through countryside to the big city. Upon arrival in the French capital, check in to your centrally-located hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon exploring at your own pace. Your tour leader will be available with recommendations, directions, or even to accompany you for a walk through the City of Light.

    Meals included: breakfast

  • Day 10

    Farewell or Paris extension

After breakfast, your tour leader will ensure your smooth transfer from your hotel to Charles de Gaulle Airport. But for those not ready to say goodbye just yet, the adventure isn’t over! Choose to extend your stay and enjoy two more unforgettable days in Paris — the city of timeless beauty, café culture, and artistic grandeur. Whether you’re strolling through Monet’s gardens in Giverny, sipping espresso in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, or taking in artistic masterpieces at the Louvre, your tour leader will be able to assist as your personal concierge, ready with insider tips, must-see recommendations, and all the support you need for a seamless, enriching finale to your journey.
