A 5 night fully escorted Cornish cultural tour, with all accommodation, entrance fees, guiding and transportation within Cornwall included. Arrive in Cornwall and check in to your centrally located hotel. As always, we advise arriving in Cornwall by train and transfers from Par or St Austell train station are included. Transfers from Newquay airport are also included. If, however, you will be arriving by car, then parking is available at your centrally located hotel. Evenings are left free during this escorted tour for you to dine, sample and explore independently
On this first tour day in Cornwall, we visit an authentic fishing village with a chance to chat to a local fisherman! Enjoy a walking tour through this vibrant village and tuck into the local catch of the day at lunchtime. The afternoon will include some free time, stunning scenery, and a visit to the nearby Poldark filming location of Charlestown. We end our day with a typical Cornish cream tea…and we know we don’t have to remind you, but it’s definitely jam first
Today we will explore An Area of Outstanding Beauty as we set off to learn about the various produce of the Fowey Valley. Our day starts with a visit to a leading Cornish nursery where we enjoy a morning coffee and sample some special local products. The rest of the day consists of an exclusive visit to a super-berry orchard, sampling some Cornish gouda and a tour and tasting at an award-winning sustainability-focussed gin and vodka distillery
A day of adventure awaits you, as we head off on a full day tour to the west of Cornwall. This day is designed to showcase some of the stunning scenery that Cornwall has to offer as we take in sweeping bays and idyllic countryside. After a local lunch, we will head to the highlight of the day to learn about some of Cornwall’s sweeter smelling produce with a visit to a local Lavender farm
Our final day of touring starts with a beach clean – responsible travel is extremely important to Cornwall Discovered and we encourage our guests to embrace this green highlight. After another hearty Cornish breakfast, we then head off to explore a local garden with a lunch included in the relaxing surroundings. Afterwards we head off the beaten track again to a bespoke Cornish winery for an insightful tour and tasting from the winemaker. We will end the day with a chance to all dine together and discuss our favourite tastes of Cornwall
