  • Day 1

    After arriving in Zurich and checking into your hotel there will be a quick group orientation. Then you are off to the heart of the city of Zurich. Your tour begins with a ferry ride down the Limmat River and out onto Lake Zurich. This beautiful mix of city, water, and alps provides the perfect backdrop for photos. After your ferry ride you will visit the famous Sprungli chocolate shop along with seeing Zurich's 3 major Cathedrals, Fraumunster, St.Peter's, and the Grossmunster. This walk among the Cathedrals will afford you many wonderful shots of back alleys and unique shops. You will then walk up to Lindenhof where a Roman fortress once stood. This park overlooks the Limmat river along with the city skyline. You'll then stroll down charming Niederdorf Street in the city centre. Your day will end with a delicious Swiss dinner followed by one final shoot for the day at the University's terrace overlooking the city.

  • Day 2

    There will be an early start after breakfast to catch the morning light. Today you'll head to the impressive Rhein Falls. This waterfall is the largest drop on the Rhein river and provides a dramatic water scene. Later you will visit the Castle Neuhausen and the city of Schaffhausen with it's painted fresco walls and fortress perched above the city. You'll then head to the charming village of Stein am Rhein. The architecture of this village's main street is stunning. A day for great photography day of both nature and architecture. The day will end with another delicious Swiss dinner.

  • Day 3

    Today you'll leave the busy city of Zurich and transfer into the Alps. It will be an early start. First thing after a beautiful breakfast you will have your bags shipped to a village in the Alps.You will then board a train headed for Bern, Switzerland's capital. Bern is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that will make you feel as though you've been transported back in time. Rows of sandstone houses and cobblestone lined streets and arcades will be sure to wow you and make for some amazing shots. You'll then leave Bern and travel to the city of Thun. Nestled on Lake Thun and the Aare River, this city will quickly become one of your favourites. The views from the Castle walls will astound you with the surrounding Alps towering above. After Thun you will head to the village of Wengen that is perched on a cliff side above the Lauterbrunnen Valley. A delicious dinner at the hotel will be a perfect end for the day.

  • Day 4

    After a restful first night in the Alps and a good breakfast there will be another early start. Today you will stay in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. First leg of the journey is a cable car ride cliffside until you reach Grutschalp. From here your group will go by foot on the trail. This trail will wind through pastures filled with Swiss cows and towering views of the Berner Oberland Alps. You will stop at Winteregg and visit a small cheese factory and of course sample some cheese. You will continue on from there to the village of Murren. This is the highest carless village in Berner Oberlands. After a delicious lunch in the village the group will then walk to the village of Gimmelwald. This walk will cross several cascading creeks and beautiful green fields. It is from here you'll board a cable car that takes you from the towering cliffs to the valley below. Watch base jumpers and paragliders floating below through the sky. You will then visit Trummelbach falls where you will be in absolute awe of the power of water as we watch this waterfall carve it's way through the Alpine rock wall. You'll head back to the village for dinner.

  • Day 5

    Today the group is off to the famous Matterhorn. This journey take us through the Rhone valley on an amazing train ride all the way to the village of Zermatt. Once in Zermatt you will board the Gornergrat Cogwheel train and go all the way to the top observatory. The pictures of the Matterhorn you can take from the viewing deck will be epic. After lunch at the top the group will then take a short hike from Rotenboden to Riffelberg. This small hike will pass by two different lakes offering great reflection pictures of the Matterhorn in the lakes. We will slowly make our way back down into the village and enjoy the evening there.

  • Day 6

    Another early start to capture the morning light. Today we will board the old narrow gauge cogwheel train to Schynige Platte. The views from the top offer both the lakes below and the towering Alps above. After a stroll through the glacier garden and taking some amazing shots we will then head to the Alpine village of Grindelwald. From here we will take the cable car ride to the top of First. A short 45 minute hike will take us to the small lake called Balchalpsee. This lake has some of the most picturesque views and will make for some incredible shots. There is the option of walking on the First cliff walk and also the First zipline on this day. After a very adventurous day the group will return for a much deserved dinner.

  • Day 7

    Today will be spent on Lake Thun with it's stunning views and lakeside castles. We will first board a ferry in Thun and get out at the port village of Oberhofen. The Oberhofen Castle nestled on the shoreline offers incredible images with the balance of water, architecture, and Alps. After viewing the castle and gardens we will then board the ferry and cross the lake to the village of Spiez. This village's port will be filled with sailboats and vineyards on the hills behind. With so many options for stunning photos you may not want to leave. We will board the train there in Spiez and head back to our village for dinner.

  • Day 8

    Our final full day to get in some great shots.You will ship your bags back to Zurich and then board the famous golden pass train headed for Luzern. This train ride will take us over the Brunig pass where we will cross several lakes and Alpine valleys. We will have a full day in Luzern to take in it's many sights. Lake Luzern, Reuss River, Chapel Bridge, and the Lion's Monument Luzern will be a sure fire hit! The contrast of a large city and surrounding Alps will make for some incredible, award winning photos. After a final group dinner the group heads back to Zurich and checks into your hotel for the night.

  • Day 9

    After a delicious breakfast we will say our goodbyes. Our hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport and we will make sure you get there on time for your flight.
