Tours in Croatia

Croatia - full of life! is the national tagline. And it says it all. With its crystal clear waters, thousands of islands, stunningly beautiful nature parks, lakes, waterfalls and walking trails, there are so many places to discover, so many different activities, that you are spoiled for choice! Cruising in some form is an absolute must. Book a tour of Croatia, choose a cruise where there is a deck and comfortable chairs for relaxing and reading a good book, sunbeds for sunbathing, or a spa tub so you can take a spa and watch the ocean and islands go by. Some cruise boats have steps and an easy landing so guests can swim from the back of the boat when it is moored or anchored. For those who like walking, cycling, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or parasailing (parachuting off the back of a boat) Croatia offers this and much more. And of course, historical buildings and quaint villages are to be found everywhere throughout this country.

Croatia's cities and towns

Zagreb is the capital of Croatia, other popular towns being Dubrovnik, Zadar, Split, Trogir, Korcula, Pula and Hvar. Dubrovnik's UNESCO world heritage protection safeguards the pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, a great place for walking and discovering this ancient city. the island of Korcula is rich in vineyards, olive groves and small villages, and harbouring the glorious old town of Korcula. Around 50kms across, it is an easy place to discover on cycling tours and walking tours. The amphitheater in Pula is the sixth largest surviving Roman arena and one of the best preserved Roman monuments in Croatia.Split is a main harbour and has a superb esplanade with the Dioclesian's palace. Trogir is also a main harbour and many of the cruises and island-hopping boats leave from here. Pula has one of the best preserved Roman arenas  in Europe and Hvar town on Hvar island is one of the most popular places, having a stunning bay protected by a chain of islands.

Other places to visit
