The parliament buildings at Christiansborg, the Danish/Swedish collaboration Oresund Bridge, a stunning feat of engineering which links the two countries by road and rail. For lovers of literature, a visit to Odense, the hometown of master storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, is a must. In Copenhagen, the bicycle takes precedence over the car and is probably the best way to explore this compact, picturesque city. Danish food is excellent, providing some of the ebst tasting experiences of Scandinavia.
The Tivoli gardens, National Museum, the National History Museum in Frederiksborg palace, the Lego house in Billund and the Lyngby open-air museum are all wotrth a visit, and will give a perspective on the Danish culture and history.
