5-day Bike and Barge Tour on the Danube
You do not have a whole week? You have never done a bike & boat trip before but always wanted to try it out? Then this trip is just right for you. In 5 days and 4 nights you will experience many beautiful moments that you will always remember. Discover the fascinating landscape of the wild Strudengau and Melk with its world famous Benedictine monastery. In Vienna you will then be spoilt for choice - a city that can hardly be described, that simply has to be experienced. No matter what you choose, a visit to one of the countless cozy coffee houses should always be included. One of the highlights of this tour, however, will definitely be your bike tour through the Wachau: UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to great wines and ancient castles - and last but not least, the region between Krems and Melk delights with its scenic beauty
All 75 cabins are outside cabins (approx.14 m²) and are comfortably equipped with hotel-style beds. They feature en-suite facilities with shower* (*cabin no. 306, 307, 308, 309 with bathtub), satellite TV, safe, hair dryer, internal telephone line and individual adjustable air conditioning. Upper Deck: cabins featuring French balconies (= floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door). Middle Deck: The huge panorama windows can be opened. Main Deck: The small windows cannot be opened. (Height approx. 40 cm).
The inviting spa area offers a holiday for body and soul, or you may want to rest and relax in the small sauna and whirlpool.. For endurance and fitness training, there is a small number of cardio equipment available. A reading lounge with small library offers an elegant place for a quiet time to devour your summer reads. In the restaurant with panorama windows, enjoy the views over the passing scenery while the crew serves your meal or enjoy a glass of wine listening to relaxing music. The spacious sun deck is partly shaded and features plenty of deckchairs. A special highlight is the outdoor pool at the aft of the ship.
There is an elevator running between Middle and Upper Deck! The ship is not wheelchair accessible. Smoking is permitted on the open deck, all the other spaces on board are non-smoking areas.
In case of flood or low tide, the shipping company reserves the right to bridge parts of passages by buses. In extreme situations, the shipping company reserves the right to cancel the journey on short notice. No legal right shall be constituted of both situations. The same applies for officially ordered - previously not announced - repair work on locks or bridges.

Passau – Shipping to Grein
Arrival in the "Three River City". Passau attracts many with the world's greatest church organ at the Stephansdom and its charming Old Town. Embarkation will be around 4:00 pm, departure around 6 pm. Enjoy your first dinner on board. and an evening sail to Grein.
Grein – Melk, approx. 50 km
Today's stage is marked by a diverse landscape. At the beginning, there is the Strudengau – a narrow point of the Danube which used to be notorious among skippers. The valley expands from Persenbeug and the bike tour leads you further to Melk with its gorgeous baroque monastery of the Benedictine brethren. On deck, you enjoy the sunset and the beautiful evening illumination of the Wachau. In the night shipping to Vienna.
Vienna-Nussdorf / (Korneuburg may also be possible) (day of rest)
You should be sure to see the most famous places of interest like the St. Stephens Cathedral, the Hofburg, the gorgeous boulevard "Ringstraβe" with the Burgtheater, the State Opera House or the town hall that takes you back to the past. In the night shipping to Rossatz or Dürnstein (Wachau).
Wachau – Melk – Pöchlarn, approx. 42 - 52 km / Shipping to Passau
Your last biking day is a special highlight! Amidst small dreamy villages, apricot trees, vineyards, castles, monasteries and ruins, this gentle hilly landscape enchants everybody. A powerful ruin looms above the small Baroque town of Dürnstein, while the blue tower of the monastery church is a landmark of Wachau. In the small village of Pöchlarn you will board again. After the farewell gala dinner, you start “sailing” back to Passau.
Departure from Passau
Every journey draws to an end. Once again you enjoy on deck the first sunbeams and the peaceful silence of the Danube Valley. Take a last sight at the Schlögener Schlinge ("Great Loop") before you arrive relaxed at Passau. Arrival: approx. at 10 am, disembarkation half an hour later.
