Panoramic view of the town and the Marne valley ( 5km walking)
You start the day by a 1km ascent on the hills dominating Epernay. You walk through narrow streets that originally led to the forests via fields and vineyards. The extension of the town in the 19th century integrated these roads to the town. On the way, you can admire the panoramic view of the town, its bell towers and its vineyards. A breath of fresh air in the region where the ambiance is always sparkling. After the walk, possibility to visit one of the many impressive cellars of the town. Overnight.
Panorama of the town and the Cote de Blancs (5km walking)
You start this day's walk along the prestigious Avenue de Champagne and then you climb on Mount Bernon (highest point of the town, 208m). Admire all the headquarters of major champagne producers on Avenue de Champagne, and think about over 200 million bottles stored beneath your feet. You will see on your way the vineyards of Montagne de Reims with its pretty village Hautvillers on the side of the hill. Further on, a beautiful panorama of Epernay opens up to you. Back to the city center, you will still have some time for a visit of a Champagne house or a comparative Champagne tasting in a special Champagne bar. Overnight.
