Everything about the trip was wonderful. If you want an experience of the parts of Portugal the locals love, book this tour. We went to the best restaurants and tastings. Our experience with chef Vasco in Arcos de Valdevez was incredible. He opened his doors and treated us like family. This is not a bus tour with a group listening on a headset. It was absolutely fantastic. The hosts are wonderful – responsive and helpful and I thought the trip was superb value, would use them again without hesitation. Bikes, tour and island great. And the hotels they put us up at were by far the best standard I have ever had in any similar tour (in fact, 2 were luxurious), all had a balcony, and all faced a view. Gobsmacked. Best of Portugal
The Tour was really good, and as we were the only 2 people we had a private tour guide!! The places we went were all so different, and the guides were very helpful, knowledgeable and just let us go along at our own pace, never felt rushed. Lots of little extras included too, like admission tickets and Pastel de Belem cakes - they were the best!
