Today, you’ll say goodbye to Athens and travel north by ferry to Skiathos. Your driver will transfer you to the port of Volos for your cruise to Skiathos. Get ready for amazing landscape, golden sand beaches with turquoise waters and pine trees over the edge of the sea. Upon arrival, the rest of the day will be free. Take the opportunity and walk the maze of white-washed stone alleys of Hora and enjoy a cocktail at the cosy bars of the Maxilares area.

Skiathos is an island whose energy oozes from every bar, street and restaurant!

SKIATHOS TO SKOPELOS

Today, you’ll say goodbye to Skiathos and make your way to your next Greek destination, Skopelos! Skopelos is a hidden gem featuring crystal clear waters, pine forests, vineyards, olive groves and amazing local cuisine! The island played host to famous Mamma Mia movie with picturesque high cliffs at the northwest coast, while the sheltered southeast coast harbours are home to several sand-and-pebble beaches. The island’s beautiful capital town Chora on the northern coast is located on a hillside and sprawls around the mediaeval castle with sweeping views over the Aegean Sea. Start your journey from the town’s port from Panagitsa tou Pyrgou Church (Holy Mary of the Castle) where the twisty narrow paved streets will lead you to the 13th c. venetian castle

MAMMA MIA, HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Today, you’ll dive into the movie set of the 2008 hit film, Mamma Mia, which was filmed largely on Skopelos Island. You’ll begin by visiting the beautiful AgIoannis Chapel, also known as the Mamma Mia wedding church. Walk up the 199 steps to the top and simply enjoy the stunning views and the cooling sea breeze from the top of the rock. You’ll also visit Kastani Beach, taste the famous Skopelos virgin olive oil and relax at Agnontas Beach.

ALONISSOS AND MARINE PARK TOUR

Today, you’ll head out on one of the most exciting tours of the trip. You will get to know Patitiri, the port of Alonissos, you’ll visit “Palia Alonissos” or “Palia hora”, the old village, which is located above Patitiri, and you’ll stop at many of the island’s most beautiful beaches for a swim and lunch. After visiting the Blue Cave, you’ll head to the Marine Park where you’ll marvel as the crystal clear waters and hope to spot the protected Mediterranean seal that lives here.
