Arrive in Perpignan, transfer to your hotel, relax before enjoying a welcome dinner
Discover the beautiful bays of Rosas, Cadaques, Port Lligat and visit the fascinating home of Salvador Dali. If time permits, we will take a boat ride around the bay in Dali's boat named after his wife, Gala
After breakfast, we take a scenic drive and walk up the hill to visit the former Benedictine Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes (dating back to 878 AD) where ancient legends abound. From the Monastery there is a wonderful view of the bay of Llianca - then on to Figueres for Dali’s museum and shopping
Leaving our hotel after breakfast, we stop for lunch at Gerona on the way to our hotel near Sitges. Gerona is a city beside the River Onyar, known for its medieval architecture, walled Old Quarter (Barri Vell) and the Roman remains of the Força Vella fortress.
Drive to Aiguamúrcia-Santes Creus to visit the Cistercian Monastery of Santes Creus dating back to 1158. Enjoy a sumptuous Spanish lunch in a local village then spend the afternoon in Tarragona with its Roman arena, old city and cathedral
We take the train for a guided or free day in Barcelona where your day could be on some of the open top buses which go around all quarters of the city, or visiting sites on foot e.g. the cathedral, Sagrada Familia where Gaudi's influence is recognisable, or you can browse and shop in La Rambla
Scenic drive to Montserrat monastery which is built on the top of the mountain Montserrat. After lunch we visit the coastal village of Garraf before dining at one of the many restaurants in the coastal town of Sitges
Transfer and depart from Barcelona airport or train station.
