Black Forest Walking Tour

A group of 4 from Sydney and Malaysia - October 2018 We enjoyed the walk thoroughly. The walk passed through various environment, such as forest, fields and many attractive villages. The accommodation was excellent ,particularly in small towns. The breakfast was excellent and the recommended restaurants were good. The hotels were located in prime locations thought some were away from town centre. It had fantastic view to the town below, sunrise and sunset. One needs to have both the inf...

Saint Malo Self-guided Cycling Tour

The cycling trip was wonderful - the green route itself, the stops and the seasonal weather were just perfect. We bumped into a vintage car race about half way through, and stopped for lunch where the villagers had set up a stand with grilled sausages and baguettes. The hotels were friendly and helpful. Well worth doing again! Patrick, Singapore 2018

Bike and Barge Tour in Bordeaux

Our wonderful week on a bike and barge tour in the Bordeaux region! We had a delightful time on the Bordeaux bike and barge tour! All of your organization was superb and we made all of our connections with no issues. We loved sailing on the barge! She is a lovely vessel, nicely appointed, cozy and charming. Our cabins were comfortable and clean. The bikes were mechanically sound, yet a bit on the heavy side. No issues with getting our clipless pedals on our rental bikes. On a couple of the...

Luxury Barge Cruise in the Champagne Region

Our first trip on a barge and no idea what to expect. Everything worked well – the pick up and return from and to Paris - to the first glass of Champagne! Well appointed cabins on the small barge for a total of 12 guests. Really felt at home with the other guests and small crew. Both meals and wines were excellent, far exceeding our expectation. Visits to the various Champagne houses were well organised and provided an in-depth appreciation of the region's wines. It was informal, relaxi...

Adige River 5-day Cycling Tour

The Adige River 5-day self-guided ride was our first ever organised bike ride. We loved every minute of it. The riding was amazing with great views and lovely villages at every pedal stroke. The towns chosen for overnight stops were really different from each other but all beautiful and interesting in their own right. The trip on Lake Garda was a highlight and really added another dimension to the ride. Bike tracks and small back roads felt safe at all times and the maps and guide were ver...

Spanish learning School in Southern Spain

"Homestay and activities have been superb, and it was great value for money. My classes were for 4 hours per day rather than for three, and since my 2 fellow students of the first week had a 4 hour class on the Friday I was invited to join that too. In the second week I was offered 2 extra classes of an hour and a half each. Activities ran even with just 1 participant: my flamenco class and leatherwork class consisted of just me and my accompanying intern. For the gardening, it was just me an...

Bike and Barge Tulips Tour

Really can’t begin to say how much we enjoyed this bike and boat tour - it totally surpassed our expectations, and we knew when we booked it would be an amazing trip. Right from the minute we stepped on board, the crew looked after everything for us. They were very professional, but friendly and fun also. Vases of tulips greeted us in the dining room and salon area - nice touch!! The meals were incredible - never expected an Italian chef, that was a huge bonus!! Our cabins were a good size...

Italian Language School & Cultural Experience

How do you imagine your Italian language vacation? Dodging cars and buses in a big city, or strolling the lanes of a picturesque hill town? Elbow to elbow with tour groups and commuters, or enjoying the vista of a peaceful, ancient valley? Brief words with waiters and shopkeepers, or long conversations with local residents? Making only memories - or friends, too? The Italian Language School and Cultural Experience looked great online, and after some deliberation, I went for it. 2 weeks in ...

Food Tour in Slovenia

Ian and I thoroughly enjoyed our 'Foodies' tour in Slovenia, it was equal and in some cases superior to food and wine tours we have undertaken in other countries. It was well structured with all of the right elements to make it varied, interesting and educational. The range of activities from wine and olive oil tasting, lunches and dinners, museums and cultural experiences, visits to a wide range of food producers, cooking classes, not to mention the scenery and history made it a memorable tr...
